iPD Product Overview

iPD is an award-winning software solution developed for state and city departments of transportation and federal government agencies, and represents a new alternative for project management control for pre-construction, construction and civil rights business requirements.

In cooperation with the Utah Department of Transportation, the iPD solution was redeveloped from UDOT's award-winning PDBS (Project Development Business System) system.

As an enhanced application, iPD now provides customized solutions specific to a DOT's business rules and processes.

iPD was designed and developed with six customer-focused objectives:

  • Customize each installation to fit the client's business processes
  • Cost savings by reducing or eliminating ongoing licensing and maintenance fees
  • One database for a single data entry point
  • Allow for timely and cost-effective product enhancement and modification
  • Reduce business processes by up to 90% through integrated end-to-end functionality
